Pre-coffee thought of the day
Jun. 22nd, 2015 12:06 pmSomething that always drives me crazy is how popular media picks up ancient artifacts and places--be it Stonehenge, Easter Island, pyramids, whatever--and jumps to the idea that it must be aliens. Aliens? Really?
Why is it so hard to think that early people were capable of creating technologies and items that were complex? Or is it that we don't want to think of them possessing that level of ability or intellect and then, perhaps, losing it?
I suppose though I could always pitch a different take on this idea to the History Channel. Mysteries of the Mutants... got a ring to it, don't it?
